600x Microscope with

Adjustable Stage

Through a special purchase arrangement, Hands-On Labs is able to offer an excellent quality 600 power monocular optical microscope at an exceptional price to science students purchasing our LabPaqs.

This microscope is designed to require minimum maintenance and includes 4X, 10X, and 40X achromatic objective lenses and a 15X eyepiece with pointer.

This low-maintenance, hi-quality microscope comes additionally fitted with an adjustable, co-axial mechanical stage that facilitates locating and moving specific slide sections into the viewing area. This is especially useful when using an oil immersion lens or when working at high powers of magnification.

It has rack and pinion dual coarse and fine focus with built-in slip-clutch to protect the focusing mechanism and adjustable focusing tension. It also has a 4x4-inch stage with slide clips, sub stage adjustable diaphragm aperture, and sub stage light condenser. A safe LED light is included for illumination (see the puck light below).

This microscope is an excellent value that should serve students well through many courses and make a great addition to their home collection of science equipment.

MF 150x Field Microscope

This nifty little field microscope has rack and pinion focusing, a plano-concave mirror reflector, a 15x eyepiece, a 10X achromatic objective lens, a stand/slide holder with a mirror to reflect light, and a nylon bag for easy transport. It's small size and portability make it ideal for simple magnification tasks and for field trip explorations. This field scope is included with the BK-1 and BK-105 LabPaqs. $52.

Puck-Light Illuminator for Microscopes

This puck light can be used with either the Field Microscope, or the 600 power microscopes shown above. This convenient light source comes with 3 AAA batteries - it stays cool and provides bright white light. The puck light is shown below as used with a Field Microscope, or with a regular microscope. $6.

100x Oil Immersion Lens

This 100-power, spring loaded, achromatic oil immersion lens in combination with a standard 15x wide-field eyepiece of the microscope produces 1500 power of magnification . This level of magnification is required for work in Microbiology and is usually recommended for exercises in Anatomy & Physiology. $51.

USB Digital Microscope Eyepiece Camera

This 10x camera replaces the microscope eyepiece and plugs into a USB port of a computer to project microscope images onto a computer screen. It allows saving, labeling, printing and emailing photos of microscope images. Resolution is 640x480 pixels.
